Hand made appliqué weather shirt

Button-up, weather-motif appliqué shirt made from reclaimed tablecloths and found fabric offcuts.

This was one of those pieces that was in my head for so long, that I eventually had to just make it already, even though I knew it was going to take me ages!

Featuring appliqué clouds and lightning on the front, two raindrops on the collar, a sun or moon on the back yoke and a quilted landscape going all the way round the hem.

The main shirt is made from a mix of linen tablecloths in various shades of natural and white, and the appliqué motifs are cut from remnants of previous projects.

As ever, this one-of-a-kind shirt was lovingly hand made by me from 100% reclaimed materials, down to the thread and buttons.
