Clothkits board games tablecloth shirt

I’ve been revisiting and reimagining vintage Clothkits kits again!

This original board game tablecloth first appeared in the 1978/79 Clothkits catalogue and I don’t know where to start with all the cute details. As well as backgammon, chequers, ludo and snakes + ladders boards (great idea for a tablecloth!), there is fog with eyes, a horse with a lost shoe, clouds, mountains, ice creams, apple trees, stars, arrows, chunky cars, a big suitcase and much more. All screen printed in bright primary colours and illustrated in a charming '70s style. 

I had great fun positioning everything and I’m so pleased with how this shirt turned out, with the pattern pieces fitting almost perfectly on the tablecloth, which is always satisfying.

This vibrant, boxy fit, no-gather, one-of-a-kind shirt is finished off with found shell buttons and is a size M-L, depending on desired fit. Please see measurements in the dropdown menu.
