The unusual coral-coloured border of this vintage tablecloth really zings with the bright green and the blue, and the print is very late-70s/early 80s (which I've probably mentioned before is my favourite era!) I was also drawn to the scallop-y shapes, which I've accentuated on the back and the sleeves of the top.
There was just enough fabric in the tablecloth for what I wanted to make, with the pattern placement working out exactly right - always a result!
These boxy tops are brilliant for layering and as a little jacket in the summer months. I finished off this one with found mother-of-pearl buttons and grass-green reclaimed cotton binding around the neckline.
Roughly an easy-fitting size M-L (UK14-16). Please see measurements in the dropdown menu.
As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly made by me entirely from not-new materials.
