Green check recycled blanket vest

We're starting to notice a chill in the air, which means it's nearly wooly vest time! 

I've collected some lovely vintage blankets over the warmer months and this one went to the top of my queue as it's one of my favourite colour combos - green and orange (with a touch of blue).

I've finished this cosy vest with binding made from a darker blue wool remnant, large patch pockets and reclaimed shell buttons. I also retained the original 'Sotex' label from the corner of the blanket and stitched it into the back.

As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly made by me entirely from not-new materials.
