Handmade kids' recycled quilt vest

Dinky kids' vest/gilet/waistcoat made from offcuts of a reclaimed vintage Laura Ashley quilt, which I'd used to make two adult jackets a while ago. The pink check fabric is beautiful and very soft... I could not allow any of this gorgeous textile to go to waste!

I drafted this pattern to age 7 but it looks to me to be a lot smaller - I'd say age 3-5? I don't know a huge amount about kids' sizes though, so please see measurements in the dropdown.

It has two patch pockets and a found red wooden toggle. The binding is rescued from the original quilt offcuts.
