Parade recycled tablecloth shirt

Butter yellow and white textured cotton or very fine linen shirt made from a found vintage tablecloth with a parade of small figures holding signs, kites flags and lanterns embroidered in the most intricate cross stitch!

I must say I was very pleased when I found this tablecloth and could hardly wait to start working out where on the shirt to position the figures. I think it might originally be Chinese judging by the lanterns but I'm not certain. As well as the little people, the fabric also has a nice blue line running through it, and I've finished off the shirt with found shell buttons.

As ever this totally unique item was lovingly made by me entirely from not-new materials.
