Part-embroidered linen tablecloth shirt

Made from a carefully selected patchwork of part-finished hand embroidered linen panels in various shades of natural and off-white, this shirt is all linen, including the facings, which gives it a nice weight and makes it ideal for the cooler weather, layered up with something underneath.

As usual all components have been pre-washed, and the transfers are still visible. These may fade over time with further laundering, but sometimes the outlines prove to be more of a permanent print - it's hard to tell but I think most of these will stay.

The front yokes and sleeves are cut from vintage embroidered linen tea cosies that I found a collection of!

As ever, this one-of-a-kind item was lovingly made by me entirely from not-new materials.
