Sometimes I have a vision of something I have to make and can't rest til it's done! This was one of those... I'd accumulated quite a bit of blue linen, including a vintage Danish printed panel with a tiny bit of embroidery completed in pink thread, and wanted to see what they looked like all together in a smock-type garment.
Based on a (modified) pattern from 1975, this has gathered 3/4-length sleeves, a round neck, contrasting button stands (the outside stripe is 1978 Laura Ashley) and found wooden buttons. Would work well as a nice lightweight jacket as well as an easy-to-wear top in its own right.
Roughly a size M-L depending on desired fit - please see measurements in the dropdown menu
Also shown, White recycled table linen fruity shirt, sold separately
As ever, this one-off piece was made by me, entirely from found, not-new materials
