Recycled floral embroidered bedspread shirt

All-seasons shirt or blouse, made from a vintage thick(ish) off-white cotton bedspread with the most beautiful floral embroidery. 

I'd love to know which country this stitchwork originates from but so far I've been unable to find out. The decorative edges are particularly nice and I have used those around the collar, down the front edges and along the hems.

The sleeves are finished off with red and brown binding and the buttons are vintage mother of pearl.
