Signature candy stripe ruffle shirt

Totally unique ruffle shirt made from a soft cotton reclaimed vintage candy stripe bedsheet adorned with embroidered signatures!

The question is what did Fleurie, Tim, Gwyn, Elizabeth, Joane, Jerry, Toni and others have in common - why did they all sign this sheet between the 1950s and the 1980s, some of them twice? My theory is they all stayed in a youth hostel in Wales - but I have basically made that up! Anyway I'm glad they did because the seemingly unused vintage cotton sheet - combined with a frilly vintage candy stripe pillowcase which I used for the sleeves and the hem - has made an amazing shirt that's a real talking point.
