Vintage beach towel jacket

Beach jacket made from two reclaimed 70s stripey towels.

I only really make one beachy jacket a year as it's not easy to find nice enough vintage towels. But a while ago I came across two vibrant stripey beach towels in pristine condition and saved them for a hot spell - which we are currently in the middle of!

Of course any beach jacket needs a hood and a kangaroo pocket for the ultimate cosy post-swim feeling, and I've finished it off with a drawstring hem, hanging loop and elasticated cuffs.

As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly made by me entirely from not-new materials.
