Wavy blue quilt vest

A spring/summer-weight vest made from a lovely old cotton quilt, which I dyed a shade of indigo blue. The squiggly, leaf-shaped stitching remained white on one side, as you can see on the inside of the finished garment - and I've incorporated the original wavy edges of the quilt.

Finished off with large, angled patch pockets, navy linen binding, a hanging loop and five found wooden buttons, this handy, one-off, all-seasons piece is roughly a size M (UK14ish) with a gentle A-line shape and deep armholes for easy layering. Please see measurements in the dropdown menu.
