I was drawn to this tablecloth initially because of the checkerboard pattern and the shade of yellow, which is perfect, but the fabric itself turned out to be some of the nicest I've worked with. Soft, double-faced linen, with the two layers woven together along the blue lines, giving the overall fabric a thick, squishy quality which I think will be really comfortable to wear.
I kept the decorative cotton edging around the sleeves and hem of this otherwise simple shirt and added nine shell buttons.
Size M-L (very roughly a UK14) - please see measurements in the dropdown menu.
As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly made by me entirely from found, not-new materials.
Also shown, Conran/Habitat cotton triangular neckerchief, sold separately
