Geometric-print shirt with fancy ruffles around the sleeves that were made on my 100-year-old hand crank Singer machine using the ruffler foot, which I've just worked out how to use.
I found this large offcut of vintage 1979 Habitat fabric at a seaside brocante last year and then put it away and forgot about it, so it was a very nice surprise when I unearthed it recently - and straight away I knew it would make a fabulous shirt that needed frills!
It's finished off with found shell buttons - and don't forget to admire the excellent pattern-matching down the front (even if I do say so myself!)
Roughly size S-M (UK12) - please see measurements in the dropdown menu.
As ever, this one-off piece was lovingly handmade by me entirely from reclaimed, vintage, not-new materials
